Project management pricing tracker

Basecamp vs ClickUp pricing

Both of these are in Project management, and we read both pricing pages the same way, with the same reader. Everything below is what each page printed on the day we read it. Both pages read on 14 Aug 2026.

We check each page about once a day, so this is a daily reading, not a live feed. Prices are copied as printed, never converted and never averaged.

The two pages

Tier by tier

Rows are lined up by position on each page, not by tier name, because the names never match across two vendors. Row 1 is the top tier on each page, row 2 the one under it. Where one page has fewer tiers than the other, the row is left blank rather than paired with something it is not.

The entry tier

ClickUp is the cheaper of the two at the entry tier: $10/user/mo on Unlimited, against $99/mo on Pro. That is $89 less, 90 percent below Basecamp.

ClickUp charges per person and Basecamp charges for the whole account, so the two figures are not like for like. This is the cheapest paid monthly tier we can read on each page. Free tiers, quoted tiers and per-unit rates are left out, because none of those is a figure you can put next to another company's figure.

Changes we recorded

Nothing yet for either page. When one of them moves we write up what changed and it appears here.

Both pages were read on 14 Aug 2026 by the same reader, so the figures above are two prices from one day rather than two prices from two moments. Prices are copied as printed, never converted and never averaged, and a vendor can change a page any time after we read it. Open both pricing pages before you act on any of this. More Project management comparisons, or the dataset behind all of it.
